HasLab (Hasbro department)

Haslab (2009-2012)[1] was a Department in Hasbro headed by Rik Alvarez mainly responsible for developing continuities in the Transformers brand. Comprised mostly of Creative Directors within Hasbro, their responsibilities included developing pitches and IP bibles for liscenced content creators to expand into fully fledged Transformers media as well as archiving information about the Transformers Brand and having a minor input into toy design. Haslab was formally announced during BotCon 2011 and its employees were notified that the department had been cut shortly after BotCon 2012 [2][3]
