HasLab<ref>The department has also been referred to as HasLabs by some former employees. As there is currently little officially released information about the department in general, this page is titled after the name it was revealed as during Botcon 2011</ref> (2009-2012) was a Department in Hasbro headed by Rik Alvarez mainly responsible for developing Intellectual Properties for the Transformers brand. Composed mostly of Creative Directors within Hasbro, HasLab created pitches and production bibles for licensed content creators to develop into fully fledged Transformers media. [edit]- The HasLab logo uses a mixture of fonts drawn from various Hasbro brands. The "H" is from the Hasbro logo, the first "a" is from Tonka, the "s" is styled after My Little Pony, the "L" is from the Playskool logo, the second "a" is from Transformers, and the "B" probably represents G.I. Joe.
