One version of Hound and Treadbolt were offworlders in Axiom Nexus. Hound was with his bulk partner when she and Spacewarp took a job for B'hgdad. During the job, Hound and Spacewarp's Mini-Cons were put in mode lock by B'hgdad's goons, but Treadbolt and Spacewarp turned the tables on their captors. Spacwarp's Log

The Energon release of Armada Rollbar was repurposed as Hound.

Rollbar, redecoed in mostly olive green with a white star on his hood, came packed-in with his partner Treadbolt. He transforms into a beach buggy. In robot mode, Rollbar can be placed in Treadbolt's driver's cabin to activate sound features. His Mini-Con port is located on his... crotch.
