Inkopolis
Inkopolis is a major metropolis on Earth, circa 14000 AD. Primarily inhabited by Inklings, among other evolved sea life, many areas of the city are surrounded by water. In the heart of the city, Inkopolis Plaza and its most notable landmark, Inkopolis Tower, act as a central hub for anyone seeking to compete in the popular sport of Ink Battles. Major happenings around Inkopolis are announced via Inkopolis News broadcasts, hosted by the Squid Sisters.

Splatoon
When Transformers was announced as the theme of the upcoming Splatfest, a Pledge Box was set up outside Inkopolis Tower, allowing Inklings to vote for their preferred faction. Inklings showed their support by posting Transformers-themed art and graffiti all over Inkopolis in the weeks leading up to the event. On the night of the Splatfest, a live performance by the Squid Sisters was held in Inkopolis Plaza while Inklings battled across Port Mackerel, Saltspray Rig and Flounder Heights to earn points for their team. This continued for 24 hours, after which the Decepticon team were announced as the victors and life in the city returned to normal. Splatoon
