Would it be sensible to merge this with Air Defense Mini-Con Team (Armada)? --Andrusi 00:47, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Ehnnnnn. I mean, we don't merge, say, Constructicon (G1) and Devastator (G1). The ADT do things when they're not the Star Saber... hell, they didn't form the SS until what, issue 6 of the comic or so, despite being major players in #2? --M Sipher 00:57, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Agree with Sipher. In the case of Gestalts- the combined mode often has it's own personality (or at least powers and accomplishments) that justifies its own page. -Derik 01:37, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
(Constructicons isnt' a good example though.) -Derik 01:37, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

Should the Dark Saber have it's own article?

I know that in the comics the Dark Saber is just what the Star Saber's called when Megatron holds it, but in the Cartoon, the Dark Saber is a separate entity, In both the anime, and the Linkage Manga, Nemesis Prime is seen wielding it.One presumes it has the same origin that's given for Run-Over in the DW MTMTE Guidebook. A different sword requires a different article, yes?

There are two Dark Sabers. One is the Star Saber turned evil- (the one we saw in the American comics) the other is an unrelated trio of Mini-cons called Mad, Jack and Shade that formed Scourge's Dark Saber. (The Japanese Dark Saber team's toys are even different- they have clear plastic, the american's are black.) The Japanese one should have it's own article.
Can anyone tell me how the Japanese Dark Saber was packaged? Did it use the US Dark Saber art? (Can I use that for the characters?) -Derik 00:49, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
What about a Screen Cap from puppet?
