Blackarachnia (TransTech)

Blackarachnia is an Autobot Transcendent Technomorph from the TransTech continuity.

Blackarachnia fell victim to the schemes of Alpha Trion, her spark replaced with that of a lowtech loyal to him.

Since then, though, her Spark has been rescued from Trion's labs, and - after therapy involving footage of him on the receiving end of Optimus Prime's vengeance - has been promoted to Vice Directorate of Cybertronian Intelligence by Directorate General Starscream, to help him deal with his responsibilities as head of security on a post-Shroud Axiom Nexus. Her promotion has been found suspicious by some - her selection over Prowl, Starscream's previous second-in-command, has raised accusations of a power grab by the new Directorate General.

• Blackarachnia's design was originally created when Transtech was a planned sequel to Beast Machines, and as such, it was likely originally intended to be the same character as Beast Wars/Beast Machines Blackarachnia. TransTech stories take place in their own universe, it is likely this Blackarachnia no longer has any overt ties to other Blackarachnias... or any Crystal Widows.
