Lifeline was one of many G.I. Joe operatives sent to Cybertron after a hostile encounter with its natives. After a confrontation with some Autobots nearly wiped out both the Joes and their opponents, Grimlock showed up at the Joes' Green Zone accompanied by Breaker, Jinx, Cover Girl and Clutch. Grimlock declared a truce between the Joes and the Autobots had been reached, and both factions partied together to cement their alliance. During the celebration, Bazooka munched on some of the foliage that had been created by the Joes' terraforming process. The plant proved to be psychoactive, prompting Lifeline to look after his hallucinating friend. Form Follows Function
