Sawyer was on his way to Prime Fire Station when he heard an emergency call and diverted to help with a forest fire. He found a couple of campers and kept them safe until the rest of the team arrived, at which point he and the campers climbed about Blades. Returning to the fire station, Saywer was debriefed and officially joined the team as Blades's partner.
