Unless the bulk of the stuff I've seen on Google is incorrect, his name is "Sideswipe". All one word.

I can't believe there's nothing on this page yet that talks about the name change. Halfway through Sideswipe's production run, Hasbro decided to call anything "Sideswipe" "Side Swipe," since (reportedly), that's how they filed for the trademark? Hrm. Something like that. Anyway, yes, most of the images on Google are of the first-run packaging. (I tried searching for the Side Swipe packaging once.)
