The name or term "Superion" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Superion (disambiguation).
Superion is an Autobot combiner from the Kre-O continuity family.

Superion claims to be combiner perfection, able to soar through the skies and defeat Decepticons with ease, even that pesky Bruticus. In fact, he regards the best day ever as the day he first combined into his glorious form. The other Autobots probably really love having him on their side. In spite of all his bragging, Superion does have a major weakness, having inherited his component Silverbolt's fear of heights.

Fiction

Kre-O comic

The Aerialbots formed Superion in order to defend the Autobot base from Devastator, Bruticus and Predaking, but the Decepticons knew his weakness and began tossing him into the air, making him too scared to fight back. In response, the Aerialbots separated and re-combined at ground level, where Superion could safely roll into the Decepticons' legs and defeat them. Unfortunately he couldn't stop, and was still rolling off into the distance even as Optimus Prime was trying to thank him. Kre-O Micro-Changers Combiners comic

Notes

  • Quickslinger, who misses out being part of the gestalt, instead comes separately in a blind-packed bag.
  • He happens to be the only Wave 1 Micro-Changer Combiner who doesn't need 'flak jacket' parts on any of his components. Even Quickslinger (who's not included in this set) doesn't have one, because Superion is that awesome.
