Amphiboid

Amphiboids are a Cybertronian sub-species from the Aligned continuity family.

It's very funny to be a frog. You can dive into the water, and cross the rivers, and the oceans.

Amphiboids are an agile and nimble-toad race of Cybertronians, resembling robotic frogs. Their ability to leap great distances means that they can hoperate under a wide variety of conditions, be it on Cybertron or Earth. Boasting features such as powerful legs and acidic skin, they can dish out a lot of damage; any unwary Transformer who winds up tangling with a particularly iribbitated Amphiboid might wind up croaking.

They are sometimes referred to as Amphibicons. It's a bit confusing, but we assure you that we're not am-phibian.

Springload was an insane Decepticon Amphiboid, who believed that he had been chosen to search for the mythical city of Doradus. After injuring numerous civilians, he was arrested and imprisoned aboard the Alchemor. When the ship crashed on Earth, he escaped and resumed his search in the jungle, unaware that he was on the wrong planet. He was eventually captured by Bumblebee and Strongarm.
