Okay, the whole GoBots policy discussion confused me in general, so I stay out of it, but can someone explain why this character shouldn't have an article? I mean, it says he's a Mini-Con from the Aurex Cluster. That makes him a Transformer, doesn't it? --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 12:01, 20 May 2016 (EDT)

The policy is no GoBots original characters who only appear in Facebook fiction, regardless of how often they interact with Transformers. --Giggidy (talk) 12:03, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
I don't understand, if he's been made into an Aurex Mini-Con, he doesn't interact with Transformers, he is a Transformer. How can there be a policy that excludes what is now an actual TF? --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 12:08, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
I didn't say I agreed with it. Just that's what the senior editors seem to insist upon. --Giggidy (talk) 12:10, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
Pretty sure the ones that are explicitly established as Transformers (even if WE know they come from GoBot toys) are allowed to stay.--Charles RB (talk) 18:24, 20 May 2016 (GMT)

Kil, if it helps, the policy is largely directed against Renegade Rhetoric, the fiction, not against individual Renegades, the characters. Renegade Rhetoric is treated as non-Transformers fiction when it focuses on the GoBots as the primary characters. So not including Oddball's appearance in RR is like not including Optimus Prime's appearance on Family Guy -- of course he's a Transformer, but it's not Transformers fiction he's appearing in. Also, once the Renegade List goes live, Oddball's existence will be documented on the Wiki. --Xaaron (talk) 13:29, 20 May 2016 (EDT)

....documented in a list of non-Transformers? When this version of the character is a Transformer? And I can't possibly see how Family Guy can be equated to the product of an official licensee? Man, this is why I stay out of GoBots policy discussion, because I'm pretty sure I understand it even less now. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 13:35, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
Look, to make a long story short, some editors didn't like GoBots being covered on the wiki, and so declared the Fun Publications produced Hasbro-licensed Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric to be not Transformers fiction. Then, when Echoes and Fragments was published and everyone had to concede that it did count as Transformers fiction, they decided that it was ok to simply not cover GoBots that appeared in Facebook period. That's the deal. --Giggidy (talk) 14:38, 20 May 2016 (EDT)
