- NAVIis a Maximal computer from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
NAVI (ナビ Nabi) is the NAVI series AI which operates Lio Convoy's space craft, the Yukikaze. She is programmed with the personality of a diligent young woman with a voice that's easy on the audio receptors. NAVI has a cheerful disposition, but can lose her temper when novices screw around with the controls of her ship.
NAVI originally had no corporeal form but was later given a small hovering LED screen for a body by Skywarp. This upgrade allows her the ability to join the Maximals on more remote missions off-base while also saving her program from being lost should anything happen to the Yukikaze.

The NAVI computer alerted Team Convoy to a crisis on the planet Gaea, but the troops were less than thrilled at going into action without their recently missing leader, Convoy. Nevertheless, they soon launched the Yukikaze and made haste for the planet. Without any recognized leadership, however, the spaceship failed to take evasive action when fired upon from the planet below. The Maximals launched escape pods, leaving the Yukikaze to crash land. NAVI alerted the Maximals that an unknown spaceship was entering Gaea's atmosphere, which turned out to contain the Jointron brothers. The Combined Giant, Tripledacus Later, the control console for NAVI was smashed up by Gimlet in an attempt to keep invading Predacons from using the communication system in the recon ship to call the Galvaburg II.
