NAVIis a Maximal computer from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
HEY! Listen!

NAVI (ナビ Nabi) is the NAVI series AI which operates the Maximal Space Station, the Yukikaze, and the Yukikaze's twin tenders. She is programmed with the personality of a diligent young woman with a voice that's easy on the audio receptors. NAVI has a cheerful disposition, but can lose her temper when novices screw around with the controls of her ship.

NAVI originally had no corporeal form but was later given a small hovering LED screen for a body by Skywarp. This upgrade allows her the ability to join the Maximals on more remote missions off-base while also saving her program from being lost should anything happen to the Yukikaze.

The NAVI computer alerted Team Convoy at the Maximal Space Station to a crisis on the planet Gaia, but the troops were less than thrilled at going into action without their recently missing leader, Convoy. Nevertheless, they soon launched the Yukikaze and made haste for the planet. Without any recognized leadership, however, the spaceship failed to take evasive action when fired upon from the planet below. The Maximals launched escape pods, leaving the Yukikaze to crash land. The New Forces Arrive! When Lio Convoy reunited with his soldiers on Gaia, he led them to the crash site of the Yukikaze, where NAVI remained online. White Lion, Run!

NAVI reported to Lio Convoy that she was unable to pinpoint the location of the Galvaburg II. Bighorn's Rage When Tasmania Kid failed to report back from a scouting mission on time, NAVI relayed his transmission from the field to Lio Convoy and Apache at the base. The Lake Trap

After the Maximals transported to the Southern Continent, NAVI sent out robot reconnaissance drones to scout the area, and discovered an ancient human-faced pyramid. Mystery of the Ancient Ruins She did not have a lot of information on the Insectrons in her databanks, and could not provide much help to the Maximals on this mysterious third force. The Insect Corps Arrive She later compiled all the existing data the Maximals had uncovered on the Insectrons. Friend or Foe? The Insect Robos

NAVI frequently fielded communications between the Maximals and Scuba, Danger! Scissor Boy due to the squid's habit of avoiding his fellow Maximals and going on long-term patrols in the field. Galvatron Rampages NAVI helped the Maximals coordinate their response to a major Predacon offensive on the Southern continent. Predacon General Offensive!

NAVI alerted the Maximals that an unknown spaceship was entering Gaia's atmosphere, which turned out to contain the Jointron brothers. The Combined Giant, Tripledacus Later, the control console for NAVI was smashed up by Gimlet in an attempt to keep invading Predacons from using the communication system in the recon ship to call the Galvaburg II. NAVI let Lio Convoy and the Maximals know about the arrival of the Space Pirate Seacons...from space. The Space Pirate Seacons! She alerted the team to the six readings of Angolmois Energy planted by Megastorm, which drew the Maximals into conflict with the Seacons. Megastorm's Reckoning Later, NAVI monitored a series of unusual transmissions between Bighorn and the Jointrons. Face the Setting Sun

When Santon and Skywarp arrived from space, they brought information on the artificial planet Nemesis for Lio Convoy's perusal. Lio Convoy loaded their data into NAVI for examination. Megastorm Reborn Skywarp was able to outfit NAVI with a mobile body so she was no longer isolated in the communications consoles. The Great Angolmois Freezing Tactic NAVI tracked Nemesis's flight path and determined a greater than 90% chance that it would collide with Gaia. The Lio Convoy Assassination Plot NAVI provided the Maximals with remote scans and information support during the arrival of the teleport gate, and the subsequent battle with Majin Zarak. Lio Convoy in Imminent Danger!

NAVI helped coordinate the attack time for the Maximals' Niagara cannon as they planned to shoot down the Nemesis. Knock Out Nemesis NAVI continued tracking Nemesis's course for Lio Convoy and Apache as it got closer. Lio Junior's Revolt!?

Tronatrix

When a robot emissary arrived from Mars, NAVI was able to communicate with its computer language. The emissary had been built by an ancient Gaian civilization in the event the Angolmois Energy was ever corrupted by evil. He informed NAVI and the Maximals of a Mother Computer where it could prevent the Angolmois Energy from becoming a threat to the universe. Emissary of the Fourth Planet Unfortunately, the Maximals soon learned the emissary planned to destroy the planet by crashing the moon into Gaia in order to contain the Angolmois Energy. Because she understood the computer language, the Maximals cleared a path through the computer's defense systems so NAVI could enter the system and reprogram it to save the planet. NAVI and Drill Nuts worked together on Lio Convoy's next plan: to construct a modified spaceship and then launch it via missile catapult to intersect with Nemesis. They made the key calculations necessary to compute the flight path and trajectory of the catapult's tip for launch. NAVI loaded into the ship with the Maximals to reach Nemesis. Fly Out! Planet Gaia In space, the Maximals were brought down by the Seacons, and NAVI calculated Nemesis was too far away for them to get back on course to catch it. After landing on Nemesis, NAVI helped the Maximals locate an exhaust vent that seemed to lead to the core of Nemesis. Breaking into Nemesis

After the defeat of Unicron, NAVI returned to Cybertron. She, with other NAVI units, watched Heinrad pour some sake for Lio Convoy. Graduation Ceremony!!
