There were many narly species on Quartex. The hostile narlies owed allegiance to Snarlie-Narlie, the narli king. Species loyal to Snarlie-Narlie included narlibulls, narlibats, narlilions, narlibaboons, narligators, narlilizards, and narlirhinos. • The narlies originated from the GoBots: Battle of the Rock Lords feature film.
• Additionally, in said film, the narliphant was voiced by veteran Transformers voice actor, Frank Welker.
• The vintage source material for Narlies offers multiple competing ways to parse and spell names pertaining to these species. The singular is alternately spelled Narli and Narly, sometimes on the same source. Snarlie-Narlie is alternately parsed with a hyphen and with a space. Narly animals are alternately parsed as such: Narligator, Narli-Gator, and NarliGator.
