How Megatron Knew

"Megatron only learned about "Agent 113" on that day and was startled to find out. He knew enough about the former Vos's real body to work out "113" was him and why that codename, surprising Ultra Magnus."

Okay, does anyone else feel this is a rather large leap to make? It's not said or implied anywhere in the comics, and I think Dominus would have wanted to his true identity as a loadbearer even more of a secret than Magnus did. If Megatron knew that about Vos's real body, why wouldn't he also know that he was the famed Autobot Dominus Ambus (which sure seems like something that would have got Dominus executed immediately), and therefore have said something to Rewind or Magnus?
