Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

During an clash between the Autobots and Decepticons on Dabola, Deadlock led his troops to victory by going on the offensive against the Autobots. Afterwards, a member of Deadlock's team reminded him that Turmoil's orders were not to fire unless fired upon, but Deadlock responded by killing him. Drift #1

Notes

  • There appear to have been some miscommunications during the development of the issue, as four late-G1/G2 characters originally illustrated as dying in the story are actually alive in the IDW universe's "present". This oversight necessitated the recoloring of Manta Ray, Skram, Turbofire, and the Carnivac-esque Decepticon Deadlock kills (who is yet-unidentified, but confirmed by Milne as having been drawn as someone else,[1] and intentionally colored in Generation 2 Breakdown's colors by Perez [2]) as generics to maintain continuity.
