I'm pretty positive this episode has some a lot of references to Alien, but since I haven't watched that movie in many years I thought I'd see if anyone else saw any. At the very least we have a black alien with a freaky mouth crawling through the walls and taking down the crew one by one. I am pretty sure there's a bit in the first sequel where a facehugger hits the inside of a glass tube while someone's looking at it, and the bit in this episode where the energon eater hits the glass of the observation booth is a reference to that. --abates (talk) 16:51, 16 August 2016 (EDT)

There is the remaining consideration, continuity-wise, of Optimus Prime having given the Rescue Bots the orders for the new training center earlier in the season, which would mean before his resurrection in the finale of RID's first season (where Bumblebee finalyl nailed his catchphrase).
