Storm Jet is an Autobot Aerialbot from the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2003 Universe toyline).

Not a jet, and avoids launching during storms.

Storm Jet is a member of the Micromaster Aerialbots, who combine into Superion. It is unknown if he has any connection to the full-sized Storm Jet who commanded his predecessors.

In Aurex 1104.30-DB Zeta (a highly Primax-influenced universe), the Micromaster Aerialbots were born from Dr. Brian Jones's attempts at reverse-engineering Maximus combiner technology and applying it to Mini-Con anatomy. Storm Jet is a redeco of the Sixwing component Raker, transforming into a Space Shuttle. He forms the right arm of the Aerialbots' combined mode Superion.

Though the Micromaster Aerialbots were apparently originally slated as KB Toys exclusives, they barely showed up in the ever-shrinking chain. They saw more general release in Europe, and, in the States, finally began showing up in other chains like CVS drug stores and Big Lots!.

The toy's larger connector socket is approximately 5mm wide, making Storm Jet compatible with Powerlinx ports.
