Loudpedal is a Decepticon from the Japanese cartoon portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
LOUD KIDDINGTON

Though weak, cowardly, and clumsy when compared to most Decepticons, Loudpedal (ラウドペダル Raudopedaru) stands out for being particularly specialized in his role as a sonic engineer. He can generate and wield sonic energy for a wide range of purposes: if he concentrates enough, Loudpedal can deploy sound blasts as offensive weapons, or perfectly track down Autobots, or even sculpt solid matter into new shapes and functions. He largely tries to hide the extent of this gift from his fellow Decepticons, with Exhaust being the only one he truly sees as a peer.

The sound of violence.
  • Japanese ID number: MP-25L
Masterpiece Loudpedal is a redeco and retool of Masterpiece Tracks, featuring a toy-accurate headsculpt. His deco is based on the black Diaclone Corvette Stingray variant released in 1984 only in Finland. His color scheme is much closer to that of the vintage toy than the 2002 reissue. He comes with the gun from the Road Rage release of the mold; a holomatter avatar redeco of the Raoul minifigure from the original Tracks release, now in his "Auto-Bop" color scheme; and a redeco of the Blaster boombox in the colors of his original Micro Change "RaidCasse Robo" toy, now representing Sound Warrior. He also comes with a sticker sheet, allowing the owner to replace the Decepticon symbol in the middle of the flame pattern on the hood with the "CS" logo featured on the original Diaclone release of the Corvette Stingray mold; for the purposes of this toy, however, the "CS" stands for "Cymond Shadow." A short story about Loudpedal called "Noise & Smoke" is printed on his instruction sheet.
Loudpedal was an exclusive to Tokyo Toy Show in 2016. Remaining stock was sold at TakaraTomy Mall.

Notes

  • "Loud pedal" is another name for the sustain pedal found on pianos.
  • Loudpedal's toy was announced to the public less than one day after the revelation that prose character Vivisector was also a Decepticon "black Tracks". Further proof that fans everywhere love black repaints.
