IDW Generation 1 continuity

Vivisector was part of Gorelock's battalion that was stationed on Spensifax B when Overlord arrived. Overlord had attacked the emperor of a nearby star system, simply for the challenge of it, but the people were putting up a significant resistance. Gorelock agreed to help. Vivisector estimated that the resulting battle put the technological development of the empire back an estimated 250,000 years. Afterwards, Overlord simply left. Gorelock's prisoner clemency request

Notes

• Vivisector is based on the rare, black Diaclone Corvette Stingray sold only in Finnish R-Kioski stores, which inspired the 2002 black Tracks toy.
• "The Toxic Transformer"—which established Vivisector as being based on the black Diaclone Stingray—was released less than a day before the announcement of Masterpiece Loudpedal, which is based on the same Diaclone figure. The author had no idea about plans for a Masterpiece version of "black Tracks", so that's quite a coincidence!
