The last two notes could stay, but the rest are pretty much "well, duh".--Khajidha (talk) 13:45, 18 November 2016 (EST)
It feels like it's worth noting in that part about the retail market that the now-ubiquitous Walmart and Target were just regional players in the 80s - Target wasn't in California until '87 and didn't enter the Southeast until '89, and the "Supercenter" as a concept didn't exist until about that time. Sears was the biggest retailer in the U.S. until sometime in the mid 90s, ffs. -hx (talk) 08:17, 22 November 2016 (EST)
- Also, are there any pictures out there from the '84 holiday season we can use of crowds of parents looking for the Hot Fad Toy? -hx (talk) 16:07, 22 November 2016 (EST)
