- Akira is a human in the Zone portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Akira is an Earthling who befriended the Autobots during an attack by the Nine Great Demon Generals. His father knows a lot about the Zodiac. He enjoys frolicking in meadows, catching butterflies, holding hands, blushing and picking flowers. He is very good friends with Cain and his pink bunny-bird Emusa.

- Despite popular belief and pretty much all the visual evidence, Akira is a boy. It is heavily implied that Cain and Akira are romantically attracted to one another. Deal with it.
