Star Dasher was so loyal to the captain that the rest of the pirate crew began to consider him a untrustworthy sycophant. His life met an unhappy end.

Later, Star Dasher was the subject of some of Thunderlane's stories about former Star Seekers. Star Dasher reminded Tornado of Brimstone. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur, 2014/04/27

Platinum Edition Astrotrain was repurposed as Star Dasher.

Part of a Platinum Edition two-pack with Blitzwing released under the Generations line, this reissue of Astrotrain features an unprecedented orange, white, and blue color scheme. The exact inspiration for this deco is unknown, with the currently prevalent theory being that it's supposed to homage Victory Machtackle's colors.
