IDW Generation 1 continuity

During the reign of Zeta Prime, Hefter aspired to be an astrophysicist, but his forklift alternate mode forced him to become a manual laborer at one of Cybertron's many spaceports. Inspired by their message, Hefter joined the Decepticons and became a gunrunner. He was soon arrested and placed into police custody where he was killed by Outback. Following his death, a protest erupted outside of police headquarters, asking for justification. To Walk Among the Chosen
