Masterforce War

The Masterforce War is a war from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Masterforce War (マスターフォース戦争 Masterforce Sensō), also known as the Devil War (デビルウォー), is the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons focusing on the Godmasters and Devil Z's attempts at harnessing their power to conquer the universe. The war spans a period between the re-awakening of the Decepticon Pretenders and the defeat of Devil Z.

Notes

• The year of the Masterforce War is unknown, it could be as early as 2012, or as late as 2020. The cartoon continuity's war is definitely sometime before 2021, per the works of Hayato Sakamoto, one of the compilers of the JG1 timeline published with Kiss Players and author of the Legends comics. The Victory manga (set in 2025 in a splinter continuity) seems to favor a later date; when several humans from the Masterforce series join the Victory cast they are still roughly the same age they had been when last seen in Masterforce.
