Flight stand

The flight stand is a figure mounting system used for displaying action figures in mid-air, rather than standing on a surface. This allows them to be supported in poses that would otherwise be impossible if the figures were balanced on their own. Typically, flight stands consist of a large flat base and an arm that can be used to hold figures.

Some Transformers toys have hexagonal/circular flight stand ports that allow them to be directly fitted onto standardized 3mm flight stand joints.

Flight stands

  • Transformers Exclusive Display Stand (2015)
This display stand was sold from the TakaraTomy Mall and marketed as attachable to the Transformers Masterpiece Series, Movie Advanced Series, and Legends Series. Made of colorless translucent plastic, it consists of a base with the Autobot logo, and a triple-jointed arm with a 3mm-peg to insert into flight stand ports.
  • Transformers Masterpiece Stand (2015)
This display stand was a re-deco of the above stand, and was provided as an accessory with Masterpiece Tracks, Road Rage, and Loudpedal, in solid black, translucent purple, and colorless colorless translucent, respectively.
  • Transformers Age of Extinction Figure Stand (2014)
This colorless translucent display stand was given away by ToysЯUs Singapore with any purchase over $30 Singapore Dollars. It included a base embossed with the Age of Extinction logo, and two arms with claws.
