A stellar cycle is a Transformer unit of time.

Stellar-cycles have two completely different usages.

  • In Beast Machines, stellar-cycle refers to a day-period.
  • Beginning from 2005 IDW standardized many Transformer time-measurements. In their parlance, a Stellar-cycle is ~7.5 months.

Despite representing different eras in time, it is wasiest interpret stellar-cycles in terms of their publication date. Usages of Stellar Cycles after IDW sstandardized the measurement probably means 7.5 months. Usage prior to that... do not.
