That the woman at the throttle was Casey Jones
"Crasher" Casey is the tough-as-nails operator of Mechanosaurus, the main attraction at Crown City's Rumbledome, and five-time winner of the Crown City Grand Prix. She has a fierce drive to win and is protective of her rig.

Casey and her rig were pitted against Truckalodon in a Rumbledome battle, and successfully won the bout. Casey was happily claiming the trophy when Groundpounder made an unwelcome appearance and demanded to fight. Despite her protests that this wasn't in the script, Farnum allowed Groundpounder to challenge Mechanosaurus. After Groundpounder got in some early hits, Casey managed to catch him by surprise when his back was turned and ram him into the arena wall a few times, until Mechanosaurus mysteriously stopped working. Casey had to abandon the vehicle as Groundpounder unleashed the Fiery Fists of Furnax and reduced Mechanosaurus to a wreck. In the Crown City Grand Prix, four-time champion Casey found the race so routine and boring that she played a learning-to-speak-Spanish recording as she cruised in first place. She won the race, becoming the first five-time Ruler of The Roads, completely oblivious to the Stunticons' efforts to wreck her and the Bee Team's countermeasures on her behalf.
