Howling Town

The Howling Town is a place of somewhat dubious transactions from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Located on Troja Major, the Howling Town is, in Lug's words, "the greyest of grey markets". Everything imaginable is bought, sold and bartered there. No questions asked.

Recently, it's been discovered that the Howling Town is built on a spiritual lay line causing a market shift towards funerary practices, rebranding itself as the "bereavement capital of the galaxy." If you want a prosperous afterlife, arrange for your corpse to be brought here.

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Five centuries before 2017, the Howling Town was a markedly different place and had less of a "funeral" feel to it. Anode and Lug frequently visited the market when doing deliveries for the Grand Architect. An Axe to Break the Ice

After leaving Necroworld, After Megatron the femmes aboard Team Rodimus visited the Howling Town to try and acquire a new map to Cyberutopia from Agonizer. Lug expressed her displeasure at how the town had changed over the centuries.

The Grand Architect had sent out a summons for blacksmiths to come to Howling Town. Slammer, Rocket and Wipe-Out responded but the latter was late, sparing him from being murdered with the other two. Wipe-Out soon reunited with Anode and Lug only for the three to be cornered by the Grand Architect's troops.

The Catharsians also had a presence in the town with Nautica forcefully shooing one away. An Axe to Break the Ice
