A techno-suchus synthesis, Gatoraider originated from the sulfur bogs on the shores of the Rust Sea. He was "adopted" by Krok and served as team mascot for Serpentor's Team BravoAlpha, Krok's unit during the Machine Wars. Assaulting the Cybertron space bridge complex, they took out a number of Thundercracker, Prowl and Soundwave clones. Then when the team went after Jhiaxus himself, Gatoraider assisted by blowing open an old access tunnel that led to his command center and distracted Jhiaxus's guards while Krok took them out.
