Talk:Megatron (Movie)
Human Name jokes
We might as well make the article play on his human-given names.
Megatron's Cybertronian form
Has anyone else noticed that Megatron's vehicle form bares more than a passing resemblance to the Swordfish, the personal ship flown by Spike Spiegel in Cowboy BeBop? King Starscream 02:39, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Not really, no. --EricMarrs 12:07, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- The only difference is it's A. silver, and B. has three guns instead of one.
Earth Mode
According to Wikipedia and IGN, Megatron turns into a stealth bomber. Hunter-113 22:36, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Until either one is verified by anything official, we're not including that "info". --M Sipher 22:38, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Reading the IGN article, they said they got this from playing an early version of the Movie's game. Hunter-113 01:52, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Still makes it somewhere between unconfirmed second-hand report and leaked info. With this sort of thing patience is best. IF it is true we'll all no for sure soon enough and it can go up then.n--ZacWilliam 02:51, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Seibertron reported recently that some of the production staff hinted at Megatron not getting an Earth form after all, at least in this movie. I'd say wait until the movie comes out, because even if they make a toy it's still not confirmed. User:King Starscream 13:28, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- From the book media I've perused, Megatron stays silvery and alieny the entire course of it all. There's other things I saw, but I shan't go into them since all these books come out tomorrow and you can spoil yourself then. User:Terrocon Blot
- Which book? Sounds interesting. King Starscream 03:30, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- All the kids books that come out tomorrow. The I can read, storybook, junior novels, etc. Heck, a few of the books have Megatron and Brawl standing side by side. He ain't Brawl. All these books come out tomorrow, and will be on display in your local book stores. (Seriously, this is screwed up. I can't seem to edit pages when I'm logged in.) User:Terrocon Blot
- Looking at game footage, either the Stealth-Bomber Megs was an early idea that was discarded, or he gets an Earth mode later in the game. -- Hunter-113 19:57, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Sibling status
I strongly question the inclusion of he and Optimus being brothers in the main bio, unless that is backed up by the movie itself, or some future toy bio, or other source stronger than books based on earlier drafts of the script. --KilMichaelMcC 02:23, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- If the movie does not contradict it, surely it is still true. :)
- FOr what it's worth- the prequel comics had this vibe goigng too, the ADF novelization mentions brushes by it,t he junior novelization says it explicitly... and I think there's at least 1 more source. -Derik 02:30, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- The DS game says so. --ItsWalky 02:34, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- As does the console version. --M Sipher 02:47, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, yeah. The game counts a stonger source. Although if it's not mentioned in the movie itself, I think it's going to require a footnote notation citing the places it is. --KilMichaelMcC 02:55, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

*More* Misassemblies
Yeah. I just got Super Megs and, uh, his hands are flipped. Or rather, I guess it's his thumbs and pinkies. Look at the box and compare. This should probably be noted... 71.61.152.122 07:53, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
