Terrence Salmons is part of the Action Man Programme. Salmons often finds himself butting heads with the current Action Man, Ian Noble, believing that Ian doesn't take the responsibility of being Action Man seriously.

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Salmons and Ian responded to a distress beacon coming from Mount Olympus, Greece. While Ian went down to discover former G.I. Joe member Big Ben trapped in a crevice full of Ore-13, Salmons stayed in the air piloting the jet. The energy of the Ore-13 soon began to destabilize and he was forced to pull Ian out as the mountain exploded. After extracting Action Man, Salmons asked, "What the bloody hell did you do this time?" Hacking into security cameras, Salmons learnt that M.A.S.K. had conducted a secret operation in Athens where they'd captured the Cybertronian Kup, who was now being illegally detained at G.I. Joe's base on Governor's Island. During the infiltration mission, Ian lost contact with headquarters, prompting them to wonder if he had died. Salmons immediately shot down that idea, noting that no one was that lucky.The Modern World

When the people of Verenya were mutated into Dire Wraith-like creatures, Salmons oversaw their transference into the custody of the Action Man Programme, while commenting he hadn't wanted Ian gone quite in this way. Crisis Intervention At Blackrock's direction, he took them to the Onyx tower in Buenos Aires. When the Revolutionaries arrived there with Garrison Kreiger and Sgt. Savage, Salmons was charged with guarding the former while the latter regaled him and Mayday with stories of his improbable adventures. After Centurion hacked the tower's defences, Salmons reminded Kreiger that the priority was that Ironblood not reclaim the mad scientist, not that he live. When Baron Ironblood's cabal teleported in, Salmons joined G.I. Joe in fighting off the Red Shadows before Savage unmasked Ironblood as none other than the thought dead Joe Colton himself.
