Xetaxxan
The Xetaxxians are the native species of, unsurprisingly Xetaxxis. They're hairy.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
The Xetaxxians were a brown/green skinned, hairy organic race that always wore heavy winter clothing to cope with the frigid and energy deficient atmosphere of their planet. Shining Armor #3 When Orchid Crossing crashed onto their planet, Shining Armor #2 the Sky Blast/Dire Wraith crashed into a Xetaxxian village before it burned itself out and expired. When Vekktral wondered if the Xetaxxians were mechanical, Starscream removed one's helmet and promptly chucked it away to its doom when he saw it was organic. Elsewhere a group of Xetaxxians were salvaging the ruins of Orchid Crossing to Livia's disgust and Rom's sympathy. When the Decepticon Seekers struck, Rom socked Starscream in the jaw and heroically swore to protect the Xetaxxians from any threat be it Wraith or Decepticon.
In order to bait a trap for the Autobots, a number of Xetaxxians were assimilated by Wraiths. Bumblebee fell for the trap with the Wraiths revealing themselves once the Autobots were about to take their leave. Shining Armor #3
In battle, Rom fashioned a shield from his armor to defend several Xetaxxians from Ramjet. A small cluster of them bore witness to Stardrive's short lived defection from the order of the Space Knights before they revealed themselves to be Wraiths when a Vekktral possessed Ultra Magnus arrived. Shining Armor #4
Notes
- The Xetaxxians are a reimagining of the Xetaxxans seen in the original cartoon episode The Quintesson Journal. In the cartoon however, they were a race of Cybertronian sized mechanical beings as opposed to the human sized organics they are portrayed as in IDW.
- It is unclear as to whether or not the Xetaxxians are members of the Solstar Order.
