Something that always bugged me with the cybertronian civil wars is the personnal backstories of some of the transformers. For example, Ironhide and Kup seem to have been fighters in the war since a long time ago while Mirage, who is younger, had the time to become rich in the peace times. If it could sort of work in the animated continuity (Kup and Ironhide could have been fighter in the war previous to golden age cybertron), it's absolutely impossible in the marvel comic continuity, as there seem to have never been any window of peace since the first conflict beginned for Mirage to become rich. Unless Mirage is actually as old as Ironhide.

The same problem arise for Sentinel Prime, who has been suggested to be a leader of peacetime, which is again very difficult to place in the Marvel Comics. Or is it me who is missing something?
