Legacy of Rust
Legacy of Rust was to have been a 4-issue IDW Publishing miniseries starring Punch/Counterpunch and Jimmy Pink that would have laid groundwork for further stories in the IDW Generation 1 continuity.<ref>http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=15437</ref> It was announced as being in development by Andy Schmidt at San Diego Comic-Con 2010,<ref>http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=27527</ref> and brought up again at BotCon 2011.<ref>http://tformers.com/transformers-botcon-2011-idw-publishing-chaos-begins-panel/15843/news.html</ref> All four issues were written, but the title was put on hiatus both because of the Chaos event and the media focus on the ongoing becoming a biweekly title.<ref>http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=15437</ref> No creative team was ever officially announced, but it was revealed in 2015 that the four issues were written by Stuart Moore. <ref>http://womenwriteaboutcomics.com/2015/02/27/windblade-returns-in-transformers-combiner-wars/</ref>
Due to the vast changes in the IDW universe, both creatively and on a fictional level, Legacy of Rust isn't expected to be published any time soon.
