Hi, Doomdorm64! Welcome aboard!

Welcome to TFWiki.net, one of the foremost resources on all things Transformers! If you're new, we recommend you read through our help documentation before you start editing. Here's some links to specific areas of interest:

This will help you understand how TFWiki.net works, and help ease you into our odd little place. Once you feel you're accustomed, feel free to remove this message!

Welcome to the wiki! However, we don't put characters's foreign names on their disambiguation pages; there's a "foreign names" section at the bottom of each character's article for that. (See here for an example.)

For future reference, mass changes to numerous pages, like adding foreign names to disambiguation pages, shouldn't be done without some sort of discussion. You can click on the "discussion" tab on any page to go to that article's talk page, where you can raise any questions, comments and concerns that you may have. There's also the Community Portal, which is where discussion of site-wide policies (such as, say, not putting foreign names on disambiguation pages) should go. -Foffy the Sheep (talk) 21:04, 22 April 2016 (EDT)

TFU.info images

Please don't take other sites' images, especially TFU.info's, and slap a TFWIKI watermark on them. They are not our content and it's crass when the toy photos are the entire point of their sites. Saix (talk) 14:34, 24 May 2016 (EDT)

I've found pictures like that at "File:Powerlinx_blackout_info.jpg" and "File:Energon_prowl_longarm_info.jpg". Did TFU even give permission for this site to use them? If they did I'd assume they wouldn't want another site's name on it instead of their's. Item42 (talk) 14:49, 24 May 2016 (EDT)

And on that note there's some other images from other fansites that I can't tell whether there was permission for.Item42 (talk) 14:56, 24 May 2016 (EDT)

Should we create the page [[Mr Hard Hat]]?

Why would we need to? --Khajidha (talk) 14:38, 18 July 2016 (EDT)

Do train toys go on toy railway tracks eg Hornby? (hence that page)

Why was my Gigatron (disambiguation) edit reverted?

Because you don't insert random nonsense into a disambiguation page. A disambiguation page is to disambiguate. --ItsWalky (talk) 03:03, 31 July 2016 (EDT)

Can I redirect via foreign names? (did one)

Generally not done. --Khajidha (talk) 14:39, 18 July 2016 (EDT)

Can we say the Transformers franchise is a British-American-Japanese thing?

Should we add subheadings to the cartoon continuity pages to add typographic variety?

How do I make a bigger wiki contribution?

Pictures in toy listing charts

You need to be more careful with inserting pictures into the toy listing charts. I suggest you carefully look at the existing ones before further editing, as if pictures aren't placed exactly in the code properly, it can mess up the entire layout. --M Sipher (talk) 03:42, 27 October 2016 (EDT)

"Major Characters"

This formatting isn't used if there's only one sorta popular example. Energon Roadblock or G1 Straxus do not warrant this. Saix (talk) 14:09, 2 November 2016 (EDT)

Um... actually, yes. It can be if the singular example is big enough. Out of a list of a half-dozen Cheetors, I think the guy who was a major character in five years of toys and cartoons (and then off and on in later stuff) certainly merits putting above the others and pointing out. "Downshift", no. "Thunderwing"? Yes. --M Sipher (talk) 15:25, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
