Leoric
- Leoric is a Spectral Knight from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

A noble warrior from the lost world of Prysmos, where an age of science gave way to one of magic, Leoric is the leader of the heroic Spectral Knights. Wielding a magical whip and the ability to transform himself into a lion, Leoric fights for the freedom of the people of Prysmos.
He sometimes looks like Burt Reynolds decided to go LARPing.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity family
Leader of the Spectral Knights, Leoric was present at meeting of the Visionaries within New Prysmos. Leoric advised a peaceful, cautious approach since, not only was Cybertron inhabited by intelligent beings, the Prymosians were vastly outnumbered. His opposite number however, the Darkling Lord Virulina, simply opted for a Cybertronian genocide. In a private debate, Leoric scolded Virulina's continued worship of Merklynn in spite of his status as a war criminal and the Darkling Lords continuing to use fear and domination as their philosophy before Kup and Ironhide arrived to discuss the situation. Though Leoric and Kup were open to peaceful negotiation, Ironhide and Virulina were soon at each other's throats and stormed out. At a second meeting, Ironhide and Kup revealed that the Talisman was drilling its way to Cybertron's core, much to Leoric's shock. Virulina had her fill of the Cybertronians however and used her magic to kill Kup, to Ironhide and Leoric's horror. Schismatic

Revolution

- Revolution Set (SDCC Gift Set, 2017)
- Accessories: Staff, whip
- Released as part of a San Diego Comic-Con 2017 exclusive set, Leoric is an action figure made up of redecoed parts from various G.I. Joe action figures, with a new head, torso and weapon based on Leoric's classic design (rather than his IDW design, which was unrevealed at the time of the set's release). He was packed with several other Hasbro Universe action figures: Jetfire, Matt Trakker of M.A.S.K., Action Man, Roadblock of G.I. Joe, Rom and a Dire Wraith, and 9 Micronauts mini-figurines. Unlike his original toy, he doesn't have a hologram on the chest.
- Leoric is included in the set despite the lack of Visionaries in the Revolution comic, instead being added to promote the then upcoming Transformers vs. Visionaries comic, which was officially revealed at the convention.
Notes
- Leoric was, of course, one of the main characters in the original 1980s Visionaries franchise from Hasbro.
