When Rescue Bots Academy comes out, does that design get used for his main image? I know the rule is "first Earth body", but that's been ignored with some characters like Lockdown so he could have a picture of his AOE self at the top of his article, rather than his ROTF design. --Riptide (talk) 11:25, 13 March 2018 (EDT)

We don't really know yet if RBA Hot Shot is even gonna be able to be considered the same guy as Prime Hot Shot or a different guy like RID 2015 Grimlock and Sideswipe are from their Cybertron game namesakes. It's all just "wait and see" at the moment. --Sabrblade (talk) 14:52, 13 March 2018 (EDT)

I feel like there's no way Hot Shot won't be the same guy. Grimlock and Sideswipe were basically new characters (and were even originally intended to be new characters), while both Prime and RBA Hot Shot are thoroughly based on UT Hot Shot. --Riptide (talk) 16:55, 13 March 2018 (EDT)

I mean, yes, their histories will inevitably be incompatible. That doesn't mean that they need to be considered separate characters; the Sideswipes were split because they had nothing in common but their name and "red car", not because one was around before the war and one wasn't. --Riptide (talk) 17:55, 13 March 2018 (EDT)
