10.2 ultra-drill
A 10.2 ultra-drill is piece of Cybertronic technology. Presumably, its function involves some type of drilling. The ultra type, whatever that is. (Could this be a vital operation in producing ultra gears?)

Alpha Trion was searching for a 10.2 ultra-drill lost somewhere in his workshop when a group of Decepticons, led by Megatron, burst in, demanding he give them the Key to Vector Sigma.
He tried to resist, but they managed to overpower him and take the Key, leaving him severely damaged. A group of Autobots soon arrived and repaired him, and after a journey to Vector Sigma fraught with peril, Alpha Trion sacrificed himself by merging with the supercomputer in order to grant life to the Aerialbots.
The fate of his misplaced 10.2 ultra-drill is, sadly, unknown. The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1

The ultra-drill was a device used by Alpha Trion to open portals between dimensions. Whenever the Legends World was threatened he would use it to summon somebody from another universe to help, including Ultra Magnus, Bonus Edition Vol. 14 Chromia, Bonus Edition Vol. 17 and Alexis Thi Dang. Bonus Edition Vol. 18 On request, he opened a portal for Springer to use. LG19 Sprung Prologue Jealous of Springer's popularity, Tigatron then stole the ultra-drill and used it to bring forth women from various dimensions in hopes that they would like him better. Bonus Edition Vol. 19 The device went on to trade hands repeatedly: it was stolen by Chromedome to summon Papika, Bonus Edition Vol. 33 borrowed by Minerva to summon Ginrai, Bonus Edition Vol. 35 stolen again by Weirdwolf to bring over Full-Tilt, LG-43 Trypticon Project Chapter and once again by Waspinator and used to summon Delta Magnus. Alpha Trion finally managed to keep the ultra-drill to himself when it was time to summon Swerve, Bonus Edition Vol. 43 but then he himself was captured by the Decepticon Targetmasters and forced to use it to bring over their smaller partners. The six partners' plasma energy was too dangerous, however, so Trion put the ultra-drill in reverse and scattered them across the Legends World at the cost of destroying the drill.
