Shattered Glass

Kakuryu was one of the many Dinobots created by mad scientist Wheeljack as a means of revenge against Optimus Prime and the Autobots. The Dinobot herd interrupted a battle between them and the Decepticons at the Arch-Ayr fuel dump, but when Wheeljack told his creations to tear into the combatants, the Dinobots started tearing into each other instead. What became of Kakuryu after this is unknown. Dungeons & Dinobots

Notes

• Kakuryu is based on his Victory counterpart's Pretender shell. However, rather than the Triceratops form said shell had, Shattered Glass Kakuryu has been reworked into a Styracosaurus.
• Kakuryu, Doryu and Sludge were never named in "Dungeons & Dinobots" itself. However, artist Evan Gauntt would later reveal via Twitter that the three had been specifically called for in the story's script.
