Fiction

Shattered Glass

Doryu and the Dinobots were created by Wheeljack, in response to a previous slight against the scientist by Optimus Prime. Wheeljack mobilized the Dinobots during a battle between the Autobots and Decepticons for the Arch-Ayr fuel dump.

While the beasts managed to scare the bejesus out of intimidate the combatants, their behavior left much to be desired: rather than follow Wheeljack's command and attack the Decepticons, the Dinobots started brawling among themselves and scattered. What became of Doryu is unknown, but the Decepticons may have been able to capture him as one of the Dinocons. Dungeons & Dinobots

Notes

• Doryu is based on Victory Doryu's Pretender shell.
• Doryu and Kakuryu were not featured in "Dungeons & Dinobots" itself, only appearing in the accompanying art. However, artist Evan Gauntt later revealed on Twitter that they and Sludge had been specifically called for in the story's script.
