Talk:Dairycon

Vote against deletion. Fandom is real, and it wouldnt' kill you to at least give an idea of what kind of dedicated TF 'cons are out there. Otherwise I demand you delete Botcon 1994 and Nightracer. -Derik 02:05, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- We've had this discussion before. There is zero official relevance to this convention, and only opens the door for every swap-meet there is to get its own page, which is not the purpose of this wiki. And not only was BC'94 recognized and okayed by Hasbro, but they fucking PROVIDED OFFICIAL TOYS FOR IT. And Nightracer too was OFFICIALLY MADE BY HASBRO. --M Sipher 02:13, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- If this has been suggested and rejected before, forget I said anything, but what about a single page called "Unofficial Conventions" or just "Transformer Conventions" which could be a single dumping ground for all such info? That way the info which IS a facet of the fandom, is included in the wiki, but is contained in one entry doesn't propagate out of control or scale. --ZacWilliam 02:22, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- If we're going on "relevence" here I have to side with Derik. It IS a Transformers convention after all, part of the fandom, so what does it hurt to give it a page under the "Fandom" category? Whose puppy does that kill, and how is a Transformers convention not relevant on a Transformers wiki? If it's a matter of, for some reason not wanting every convention ever to get a page, do we want to have some kind of set rule, like only named convenions held several years in a row are prominent enough for an entry? Or again, do one single page for all non-Hasbro sanctioned cons?--ZacWilliam 02:35, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
