- Battlefennec is a Laser Beast or Predacon from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Battlefennec (バトルフェネック Batorufenekku) is a Laser Beast and member of the Shield Battler-6. He is highly intelligent, intuitive and quick-witted, able to glean many details about an object just by looking at it, but is let down by a brazen personality that makes him a poor team player. His specialty in combat is deducing the most efficient battlefield decision in a flash, and his Trick Spark Laser serves to confuse enemies and leave them doing whatever he says.
Sometimes he is a Cybertronian named Fennec.

Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity
Battlefennec and the rest of the Shield Battler-6 attacked and defeated Bombsheep by knocking over his Stag Hunter vehicle, then scattered when Platinum Tiger arrived with the Tiger Hunter. Beastformers VS Laser Beasts
The Shield Battler-6 later followed Tigerburn to the Legends World in an attempt to conquer it, but failed and fled back to their own world. Bonus Edition Vol. 64
Beast Wars: Uprising
Fennec was a Predacon Supremacist working for the Mayhem Attack Squad in Iacon. During the Grand Uprising, Fennec and his posse attempted to take possession of a Targetmaster named Twirl who escaped the Extirpation, but she was killed before they could sweep her up. Fennec roughed up the Maximal Command Security Force investigator Wolfang who was looking into her death. By their second encounter, though, Wolfang was ready for Fennec, and he was beaten.
