Killerhound is a Laser Beast from the Generation 1 continuity family.

What's that, Lassie? Little Timmy fell down the well? Because you pushed him in?

Vice-Captain of the Shield Battler-6, Killerhound (キラーハウンド Kirāhaundo) is the most persistent member of the team. He follows his orders to the letter, and is 100% willing to risk his life to accomplish his goals. He's a clever beast who values quick decisions and fast action, and never, ever, ever gives up. Once he's on the trail of his quarry, he stays on it until the bitter, gruesome end. Even without the use of a W Battler sled, he can traverse long distances without tiring out.

Of course, all this can result in some... problem behavior. He doesn't always think things through before acting, which can have unintended consequences later on. He's a friendly sort (for a Laser Beast, at least) and generally liked by his teammates, but he's also got a temper that can explode if things go particularly wrong, sending him into violent rages.

His MVP Weapon, the Hound Bio Laser (ハウンドバイオレーザー Haundo Baio Rēzā) sends a shock through the target's body like being bitten by giant teeth, even leaving bite-like marks on them.

Released in the "Laser Beasts" portion of the post-Transformers-branded Beastformers toyline, Killerhound is an anthropomorphic rough collie in high-tech blue armor. He has a transparent orb in his torso, revealing the elemental power of Fire, Water, or Wood when you look through it into a light source.

Aside from his "Power Blaster Laser" MVP Weapon, he comes with a unique collie-themed shield that can clip to his arm. This shield also be slotted into the front of a W Battler sled, and have Killerhound's rifle mounted on the top via its handle, forming an armed chariot he can ride.

He was only available as part of the "Shield Battler-6" gift set, along with Battlefennec, Fighthorn, Grencats, Manteaufrenzy, Stronghurricane, and two W Battler sleds. It is possible he was released as an individual "Battle Charger" in the super-late-run European-release Hasbro Battle Beasts line (he was slated to per the Pre-Toy Fair 1988 catalogue), but no packaged samples have been found to confirm this.
