Seaspray (Prime)

Seaspray is an Autobot from the Prime cartoon portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Seaspray is a member of the Wreckers who fought alongside Wheeljack and Bulkhead. The latter Wrecker lovingly calls Seaspray "ol' Barnacle Butt."

During Wheeljack's travels, Seaspray came into contact with his former comrade, who arranged a meeting with him. However, the Decepticon Dreadwing rigged Seaspray's ship with explosives and blew it up, killing Seaspray in the process. Seaspray's death motivated Wheeljack into hunting down Dreadwing. Despite his death, Seaspray was one of the Autobots blacklisted by the High Council for associating with Optimus Prime. Enemy of My Enemy

Notes

• Seaspray's ship looks exactly like Wheeljack's ship, only with a slightly different color scheme.
• The writers considered having Seaspray survive and appear in season three of Prime, though time constraints prevented more Wreckers being introduced into the show. His character would have been reminiscent of Quint from Jaws, and he would have used a whistle to strike fear into his enemies.
