Drillfrog

Drillfrog is a Beastformer from the Headmasters portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Later, seriously regretted his decision to join the cast of Bucky O'Hare.

Drillfrog (ドリルフロッグ Dorirufuroggu), also known as Rog (ロッグ Roggu), is one of the many Beastformers who joined the insurgent army under Alligatron raised by Galvatron in order to aid his Decepticons in conquering the formerly-peaceful planet Beast. His role in the Decepticon-allied Beastformer forces is an underwater offensive soldier. He is aided in this role by the fact that he naturally contaminates drinking water with venom discharged from his body. His hands and feet can support his weight sticking to any surface, and he is a powerful jumper. Presumably these are inherent attributes of his species. His MVP Weapon, the Rog Driller, can drill through even bedrock, allowing him to burrow through the ground and attack from unexpected directions.

Drillfrog holds the rank of King of Barāki, in whose agricultural area he was born, over Emperor Snakebomb who he grew up alongside with and is best friends with. When they fight together, they can employ their guerilla tactics on any battlefield, be it in the sky, on the ground or under water. He's popular for his lighthearted attitude but has a weakness for dark humor.

The Headmasters cartoon

Horny, horny, horny tonight.

Galvatron and the Decepticons came to planet Beast to enslave the population, forcing them to work on a mysterious engineering project. Alligatron and the Beasts loyal to him, including Drillfrog, became collaborators with the Decepticons, helping to enslave their own people. They were opposed by White Leo and his rebel forces. Drillfrog personally supervised in the slave pits, whipping his own people if they failed to work fast enough. After White Leo sought help from the Autobots, the Headmasters and Monsterbots arrived on Beast. Drillfrog watched over the prisoners, Danny and Wheelie, until they managed to escape. The Headmasters manga

Drillfrog accompanied his leader Alligatron and Predaking in menacing the local Beastformers. When the Autobot Headmasters were captured, he stood guard over them until White Leo shot him in the face with an arrow. Great Decisive Battle of Planet Beast!

Drillfrog is an anthropomorphic bright green bullfrog in high-tech maroon and dark yellow armor. His left hand has been replaced with a drill. He comes with his "Rog Driller" (ロッグドリラー) scythe. He has one of three rubsigns on his abdomen, revealing the elemental power of fire, water, or wood.

Later in 1987, Drillfrog was reissued in the third wave of Beastformers, in new packaging with no Transformers logos or insignia. His bio card still featured the Decepticon symbol, however.
