Grencats (グレンキャッツ Gurenkyattsu) is a Laser Beast of the Persian Cat Clan and one of the Shield Battler-6. A loner who lives in a world of his own, he only cares about things relating to himself and pays attention to other people in a very nonchalant manner. He also enjoys cleanliness. His flexible body makes him one of the Laser Beasts' top fighters when it comes to surprise attacks, and he's the greatest strategist among the Shield-Battler 6. Anyone blasted by his Iron Claw Laser feels pain as if they've been scratched by countless claws.

Grencats and the rest of the Shield Battler-6 attacked and defeated Bombsheep by knocking over his Stag Hunter vehicle, then scattered when Platinum Tiger arrived with the Tiger Hunter. Beastformers VS Laser Beasts

The Shield Battler-6 later followed Tigerburn to the Legends World in an attempt to conquer it, but failed and fled back to their own world. Bonus Edition Vol. 64

Grencats is an anthropomorphic Persian cat in high-tech blue armor. He comes with his "Iron Claw Laser". He has a transparent orb in his torso, revealing the elemental power of fire, water, or wood.

Grencats was only available as a set with Fighthorn, Battlefennec, Killerhound, Stronghurricane, and Mantfrenzy.
