Aubrey Sitterson
From MediaWiki

Aubrey Sitterson is a freelance writer and podcaster. He wrote G.I. Joe vol. 5 and Scarlett's Strike Force for IDW Publishing. Sitterson's take on G.I. Joe explored the more outre aspects of the franchise's history, including a move to have the team shoot colored lasers as per the 1980s cartoon as opposed to real bullets, the inclusion of oddball concepts like the "Fatal Fluffies" and Hasbro's short-lived "Army Ants". He also revamped the largely inconsequential Joe character "Salvo" into a Samoan-American woman (as opposed to a bald white guy), one of several moves that ended up... let's say "alienating" the G.I. Joe fandom.[1].
