Asia is Earth's largest continent. It is also the most diverse continent on the planet, encompassing all climate types and varieties of people. Asia is sometimes subdivided into the Far East (containing Burma, China, Indonesia, Japan, North and South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam), the Middle East (Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Qatar) Southern Asia (India) and Western Asia (Russia).
